Be ready to Adopt

Bring a photo ID.  If you rent, bring your lease saying that you can have a dog or provide your landlord’s phone number.  If you have had a dog in the last five years, bringing vet records may help.

Microchip:  A microchip is the latest high-tech micro identification technology which enables veterinarians, animal hospitals and shelters across the nation to provide your pet with a lifetime of protection.  If your pet should ever be stolen, the microchip will identify your pet.

Adopting a pet is an important commitment for the rest of your pet’s life.  Please consider this decision carefully.

Animobile

The Animobile is coming to your neighborhood!

The Chicago Wolves don’t just help on Adopt-A-Dog Nights. Wolves owner Don Levin (right) purchased and donated the Animobile to Chicago ADon and Doggynimal Care and Control. The Animobile is a free and innovative mobile adoption unit that’s staffed by veterinarians and adoption pros. It is air-conditioned and heated for year-round use, and can hold up to 25 dogs and cats at one time.

The Animobile travels around the city to help decrease the number of stray animals. Please join the Wolves in finding permanent homes for Chicago’s homeless dogs.
