The Wolves wrap up the month of October with two games at the Allstate Arena, beginning with a visit from the Milwaukee Admirals on Friday; Chicago has posted a 2-3-0-2 mark in October to start the season.


--- Kevin Connauton: Paced the Wolves with 2 goals and shared first on the team with 3 points in three games last week ... Ranks first among team defensemen and shares second overall on the squad with 4 points (2G, 2A) in seven games this season ... Shared first among Manitoba Moose defensemen with 11 goals and ranked third among team blueliners with 23 points in 73 outings during his professional debut last year

--- Jordan Schroeder: Shared first on the team with 3 assists in three games last week ... Notched 4 points (G, 3A) in the last five contests after failing to register a point in his first two outings this year ... Ranked seventh on the Manitoba Moose with 28 points (10G, 18A) in 61 matchups as a rookie last season

--- Bill Sweatt: Tallied 2 assists and 3 points in three games last week, his first points as a member of the Wolves ... Ranked second on the Manitoba Moose and shared ninth among AHL rookies with 46 points (19G, 27A) in 80 contests during his professional debut last season

--- Eddie Lack: Recorded the sixth shutout of his professional career with a 35-save performance on Friday ... Shared first among AHL rookies and tied for fourth overall in the league with 28 victories and ranked seventh in the circuit with a 2.26 goals-against average in 53 outings with the Manitoba Moose last season ... Posted a 28-21-4 record and shared fourth in the league with a .926 save percentage during his AHL debut ... Named to the 2011 AHL All-Rookie Team

--- Darren Haydar: Paces the Wolves with 5 points (2G, 3A) in seven games this season ... Ranked second on the Wolves and fourth in the AHL with 74 points (27G, 47A) in 77 games last season ... Named to the 2011 AHL Second All-Star Team


--- The Wolves bagged eight goals in three games last week, one more than the seven they scored in their first four contests this season.

--- Left wing Mike Duco registered a career-best 2 assists and matched a career-high 3 points on Saturday; the 24-year-old forward set professional career-highs with 20 goals and 31 points in 67 outings with the Rochester Americans last season.

--- Chicago has killed off 16 of its opponents’ last 17 man-advantage chances after allowing three power-play goals on three chances on Oct. 14 at Milwaukee; the Wolves, which have been perfect on the penalty kill in three of its last four outings, rank 14th in the AHL with a 81.2 efficiency rating on the penalty-kill (26 of 32).

--- Goaltender Matt Climie kicked out a regular-season career-high 47 saves on 48 shots Saturday, which includes holding Rockford scoreless for the first 51:20 of the game; the 28-year-old netminder stopped 51 of 53 shots in Game 6 of the 2010 Western Conference Finals as a member of the Texas Stars.

--- The Wolves have been held without a power-play goal in their last two games after matching a season-best 2 man-advantage markers on Friday; Chicago ranks 24th in the AHL with a 13.5 efficiency rating on the power-play this year (five of 37).


--- The Wolves will take to the ice for warmups with special pink sticks on Sat., Oct. 29 in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each stick will be autographed by several players and be available for a $150 donation, the cost of a mammogram for those who can’t afford one. Fans will be able to purchase a “Stick It To Breast Cancer” T-shirt for a $20 donation and autographed pink pucks for a $10 donation.
