The Wolves open a three-game homestand Wednesday riding a three-game winning streak; Chicago sits two points out of a Western Conference playoff spot with 39 points through 34 games this year (17-12-3-2) and is tied for the fewest games played in the AHL.
The Chicago Wolves have recalled right wing Alexandre Grenier and defenseman John Negrin from the ECHL’s Kalamazoo Wings and goaltender Mathieu Corbeil from the Central Hockey League’s Missouri Mavericks. In addition, the Vancouver Canucks have reassigned center Alex Mallet from Kalamazoo to the Wolves.
The Wolves sit four points out of a Western Conference playoff spot with 35 points through 32 games this year (15-12-3-2); Chicago’s 32 games are tied for the second-fewest games played in the AHL and are the fewest in the Western Conference.
