Rosemont, Ill.---Right wing Darren Haydar’s eighth career hat trick pulled the Chicago Wolves into overtime. Once there, left wing Bill Sweatt finished it off 1:21 into extra time to give the Wolves a 4-3 victory over Peoria before a raucous School-Day crowd on Tuesday afternoon at Allstate Arena.
The Chicago Wolves host their third Beer Tasting Fundraiser from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the RAM Restaurant and Brewery in Schaumburg.
Chicago hosts Peoria on Tuesday in its final School-Day game of the season; the Wolves have posted a 7-2-0-0 mark in School-Day games since 2009-10 and have outscored their opponents 26-11 in their nine morning tilts over the last four seasons; both of the team’s morning games this year have been shutouts (1-1-0-0).
